Ok, here begins the journey. Apologies in advance that I'm not as good a storyteller as Bookie or Bawanna, but there will be lots of pictures along the way.
Recently, our good friend cul4u01 posted that his Yuvrav Western and Mini Micro Bowie were both in need of some new pants. I recently got into kydex forming, so, ego boosted from Bawanna's praise of my MMB sheath, I offered my help.
We exchanged emails back and forth, discussing different styles of belt attachment and such, and I believe I have a good idea of how I'm gonna do both of these. Of course, the beauty of thermoplastic is that if it doesn't work the way I thought after forming, you just reheat and it goes back to flat, like you never molded it. I don't wanna spoil the surprise, but I will say that the Bowie sheath will be very similar to mine, and I will probably use a foldover design for the Western. Cul, feel free to elaborate on anything if you wish, or not. Remember, there are no secrets, only surprises
Anyways, back to the emails. In our discussions, he had asked if I have ever seen a Padam Suga or a Trisul. I replied that I had only seen them in pictures, which I now realize were posted by cul on the first thread I started when I joined, called "Hooked on HI." He told me he would send them along with the Bowie and Western, so that I might take a little closer look. A very kind and slightly brave thing to do, I was beyond excited. He told me, "take all the pictures you'd like," and well, I like a lot of pictures!
So here we go. I'll add notes where I feel it's useful, but they are largely self-explainitory. That is to say, pictures of awesome knives. I took a bunch with both of our MMB's together. Mine is the one with the longer handle, and more red appearence to the scales.

I love the handle on his Trisul, as well as all of the rest of it, but particularly the handle. The wood is basically black on one side and red on the other. It's phenomenal. A picture from each side looks like two completely different knives! Tried to get a side view as well. No shadow-play or camera tricks here neither, just one cool knife

Next up, the Suga. This blade is simply amazing. It fits perfectly in my hand, the balance is great, blade size and shape, great, and the looks are killer. Not to mention, if you look up "distal taper" on wiki, you should undoubtedly find this spine picture. Not sure when he'll get this one back..might take him up on the offer to "enjoy them"

Looks good with the Bowies too!

And finally, more Bowies
These are the original sheaths for both, so you can see the minor differences. Mine is on top.

Edit: PS, looks like either there's no image limit per post, or its over 16 :thumbup:
