Not to be rude;

More ugly knives please. I know there are some real masterpieces out there.

I really don't know how this one managed to escape an honorable mention for so long. I present to you the Spyderco Jot Singh Khalsa:

It's actually a half-decent blade. It just needs to have that hump on the back ground off.

Lol I was going to post this one too. I (personally) find all spydercos to be very ugly except their new euro dagger

Striker and Emerson also make some of the ugliest knives in history ( probably 98% of their knives :barf: )

In certain circles, this is seen as the pinnacle of knifemaking.....

OMFG that looks stupid!! Hahahahah!!! What are they called? Think I'm gonna watch some youtube reviews just to get a good old laugh tonight. :D

Nothing like a thick brick of a knife that can't be subjected to hard use. Or oil. Or tools. Or repetitive opening and closing. So basically treat it like a spyderco delica. What's the point of that type of knife again?
I struggle to wrap my mind around how you equate a silly clown knife like a Medford with a Spyderco Delica - would you mind explaining, pls?

You shouldn't abuse a delica. You shouldn't take apart a delica. Medford Brick Company is saying the same thing about their knives.

And I know it's not very popular in this thread but I have to say that I kinda want a Praetorian. I can't help it. The only thing holding me back is that I have a hard time justifying dropping 7 bills on a D2 blade.

Anyway , back to poo pooing !

Go for it, if it makes you happy who cares what some knuckleheads on an Internet forum think. Just make sure to baby it though, per the manufacturer it cannot withstand being touched by tools, lubricant, or even the caress of a gentle breeze.

Seriously, does anyone know the maker of that thing? Or is it just made by some jon doe?

Medford knives can take abuse like no other. He doesn't want them taken apart because some people can and will screw it up and he doesn't want to deal with it, which I don't blame him. Not everyone is good with putting things back together after they tear them down and to be honest no manufacturer on the planet, with the exception of a couple, will warranty a product because their customer tore their product apart and can't get it back together.

Anything by Strider knives, they don't cut well. I don't understand why people make knives that don't cut well.

Any of the ultra thick handle, ultra thick bladed "knives" that would function better as a paper weight. [i.e. Medford, direware, crusader forge, strider.]

Indeed what is the F@#$%ing point. By definition a knife should be able to do the cutting but some makers just do not get that simple fact

Agree to disagree? I own a Medford knife and I think they're terrible knives. Too bulky, too heavy, too thick-bladed to cut well. Also, the letter included from Medford is beyond stupid.

That's s**tastic. There are terrible movie directors in hollywood(talking to you, michael bay) that are uber jealous right now.

They're definetely not for everyone. But they have their uses, maybe not in an edc slice up a tomato type roll, but they are an example of beautiful machine work and excellent craftsmanship. I'm more of a collector and not a put my overalls on and head out to the barn to cut stuff kind of knife guy, so for me I appreciate how a knife is made and the materials used. I think the best course of action for you is to immediately pack that useless chunk of titanium and that stupid letter up and send it directly to me so I can properly dispose of it for you. You obviously shouldn't own a $700+ knife that you hate so much. Lol. :D
