The Puukko

Love Moras (except the plastic sheaths). I always replace them with leather ones. Wife uses the Finn Bear in kitchen as her heavy duty knife.

Puronvarsi 100mm Hunter. Blade was hand polished to 800x then gray Scotch-Brite satin finish, belly slightly modified, the profile and the spine reground to straight and beveled. The peened .187" brass bolster was fitted to the blade and epoxied into the Gidgee handle with a contrasting Redheart spacer. The handle shape is a modification of the shape I recently started using. It is the most comfortable handle for me so far.

You are welcome my friend, I looked back at my comment and it almost looks as though the other stunning bunch of Knives didn't mean much to me- The WHOLE COMPLETE Bunch of knives are absolutely outstanding in my opinion!
Wonderful work!

You are too kind sir. There are many more puukkot in the works, but I have slowed down somewhat since a hand injury last year.

I'll pile on hawkhead hawkhead - these are very nicely done, one and all. I have some favorites but any would be happily used. The YP you show last is a puukko prize worthy knife.

I tend to like them closer the their "traditional" lines and features - but...

that last one is really nicely executed, want can't help itself!

Thank you for viewing and commenting. The handle on this particular knife is very comfortable and balance is spot on.

Thank you. Puronvarsi blades can be made into very nice knife; they taper toward the tip and take a wicked edge.
