How do you like the Terrasaur? I've been looking at those for a while, seems to be another decently priced homerun design from Condor but haven't had my hands on one yet.
I like it. It's made to withstand some abuse. Goes in its plastic sheath very snug and I throw it in a backpack sometimes. Need a bit of strength to take it out of the sheath as it just clicks in there and you gotta push it with your thumb to take out, but somehow that feels secure to throw it at somone to pass it to him and not worry. So it's rugged, not an exquisite piece like some of your oh my😍, but feels really good in the hand. Has a very subtle finger groove. The continuous curve of the edge is also subtle and makes nice curls. It wasn't holding edge to my liking at first, but now that I sharpened it a couple of times, it seems better. It got bumped out a bit with some other prettier pieces I have, but it's a win for working with.

Awesome, thanks for the writeup! Sounds like it's exactly as I was hoping it would be!

I've had several puukkos that were the same way with the edge holding... didn't seem great at first but after a couple sharpenings or giving it a very mild convexing they then held an edge like a champ!

I'm with you on the mild convexing and the factory edge needing to be sharpened a few times before making a judgement call... but in my experience Condor's heat treatment has been spotty at best.

You would think after working with that same steel for so long they would have it air tight like Tops, but they don't :(

Oh well that's a bit of a bummer. I've never had an issue with their heat treat but I've only had a very small sampling of their knives.

Your work is exceptional.

I love stacked leather, always wanted to try to build a stacked leather handle on a knife. I purchased these
leather washers from Amazon and glued them up with G-Flex.
Purchased a Puronvarsi YP Bullnose 90 blade some time ago, the bolster was definitely more difficult than the Laurie blades I have handled in the past.
I really like the shape of these blades, don't know what I am going to do with it but I am retired and this is a great hobby.
