A Arathol Maybe it's "ML"?

Could be. Never seen this mark before. I don't really have any idea about this one.

An older mystery puukko marked only "M", I have a suspect or two but nothing confirmed.
Handle seems to be birch, rhomboid blade is very sharp carbon steel, 2.9mm at its thickest point with a bit of a distal taper, didn't come with a sheath.

Looks to me to be a stylized "ML". John

That's definitely the same mark.

This one is from Kustaa Lammi. It has an unusually small companion knife in the sheath

The inscription refers to city of Lappeenta and it´s water tower https://finna.fi/Record/lappeenrannanmuseot.180C939A-BF33-4D43-8B21-8BED73B184D6 built into its current shape in 1955.

A Arathol , the ML maker's mark looks different enough to me that it would be worth contacting Mr. Lindelä to ask him. His email should be easy to find!

Really? Looks near identical to me, but clearly he didn't get as good of a print on A Arathol 's knife.

Somewhere (it might have been Old Forest Bushcraft on YouTube) I came across the Finnish word for the click sound a puukko makes when seated into a nicely fitting sheath. Can anyone here remember what that word is? A.L. ?

The term you were looking for is "naksutuppi", clicking sheath. Lemma being naksahtaa.

Fixed the biggest sin in the Roselli leuku sheath: from flap to dangler.

That’s wild becuase I’ve driven past the tower many times and not paid attention to it. I usually remember the lapeenranta wildman drawings around town more readily.
