For the Maasepän with matching firesteel, I used 130WCrV5. I would generally use O1 or 52100That's some amazing curly birch.

Lookin' good. Seems like I read that in Finnish, puukko just means "knife."
The "true puukko" issue comes up periodically.Valken has nothing to be shy or modest about. His knives are puukkoja by any estimation, by any use of the word!

English is just fine, but the word viroles is I believe a French term for ferrule......Second batch of my Nordic series.
With the stained birch and brass viroles, I am going for an early XXth century style
