The Ratwieler LE or CG?

Just had an ah hah moment...we can solve the thickness issue. Take two blades and laminate them together....problem solved. :)
 
as william shakespeare might have said..A ratwieler by any other dimensions is not A ratwieler!
 
I assume they were thinking it doesnt make sense to have two 1/4" thick knives with the same blade length on the site at the same time. I would like it better if the Rodent 7 was .165 and the Ratweiler was 1/4", but I would buy a 3/16" CG Ratweiler.
 
The LE looks awesome, but I'll wait for a CG. My Taz Rat is still my favorite and I don't need (or want) anything thinner in that blade size.
 
I'm waiting for the CG as well I want it to match my stripped Ratmandu. I'm digging the skinny Ratweiler though I really doubt it will give me any problems batoning or chopping.
 
I can decide if I should order the LE or the CG, anyone know or want to guess roughly what the price difference will be?
 
If the LE was differentially heat treated...I would have been all over it! I would happily pay the extra :foot:
 
I'm ready for a CG its only a matter of time I'd imagine. So far every other Anniversary knife recently has had a LE version first or at least came with a CG.
 
Hmmm...I think I'm leaning towards a CG as well. I just want something that fills my hand, hopefully it will be a fatty!
 
I hope this CG comes out before Bladeshow 2014 last night I had a dream about it...and it was glorious.
