There are Muslims serving in the US armed forces. More than likely there are Muslims even serving in the US Navy SEALS. So for Ernie to go after Muslims is ignorant of him to do. Just when did Ernie become an expert in Islam? Did he take take theology night classes after he finished designing knives? Part of me is thinking Ernie says these thing because he knows he is a well liked knife maker on a forum about knives.

Ernie is an expert at knife making and martial arts. He should stick with what he knows. I like his knives but I'm not going to agree with everything he says just because I own and use his knives.

Really this is a forum about knives. Not politics or religion. So I'm curious why he even posted this here to begin with. Because he knows he is a well liked knife maker and his fans will dare not question him?

People in SEALS, SF, Ranger, USMC Racon, AF PJ's have been sifted throught the finest of screaming liiking for an reason they could not be trusted with secrets.

These refugees have zero background to look at to see if it is safe to say yes you can come to the USA. DHS, INS screwed up big time on the wife of the San Bernadino Shooter.

If we close the door not allowing in an Syrian refugees we only have potential problem from the one already hear.

As for why Mr. Emerson posted this if you are really curious write him and letter at EKI & ask. He just might reply.

What bugs me most is when I hear these references about, "The U.S. is an immigrant country," or "country of immigrants." :eek:

We've been a native-born nation for about 150 years now.

Duh--EVERY country was/is an immigrant country in it's beginning. Many no longer are.

I may agree that if I had posted what Ernie did I'd likely be called out by mods for being too political. I've seen many called down for this in the General Knife Discussion area. Maybe it's OK here though as it's his forum. Not a big deal.

My question to you, however, WOULD BE....where exactly has he stated something incorrectly? It's pretty easy to scream 'BIAS' but, seriously, which part of his disquisition is inaccurate? You didn't say.

I think most reasonable people can differentiate fact from bias without having to resort to some kind of hysteria or, as some refer to it, 'political correctness.'

You don't once mention any of them coming here TO BECOME AMERICANS. You give other reasons.

This is why many Americans are against illegal immigration and feel that If immigrants don't want to assimilate and BECOME Americans they should be issued no more than temporary visas.

That's the truth but the world doesn't accept the truth expect their perceived truth aligned with others of the same thinking (and all others that don't align with their thinking is a bigot). It stems from liberal professors in the college and university's.

The truth is the silent majority NEEDS to become the vocal majority. People as cowards to the bone, they want everne to play nice, nice. The best example of this is something the military is RETARDED BY. They are called rules of endangerment where everthing has to be just perfect per those rule written by armchair quarterbacks. Before you are allowed to try to kill your enemy, as they got the first shot trying to kill you. Finally you are allowed to shoot back.

People who currently serving in the military as scared to death of the ratification of what we in pervious wars called collaratal damage. We're inocent civilians were killed in bombing raids for no other reason that they were the bomb fell.

Today we are engaged in a different kind of war, there are no clear line where to good guy control anything, and the bad guy are inform of those line. Now we fight an enemey who tries their hardest to blend in with the civilian population, and our faces only realized the enemey, is the enemy when they bull an AK or RPG Laucher from under their clothing pointing it in you direction.

To the people who are feeling sorry for these Syrian refugees there are plenty of voulenteer opportunities to help the refugees already in the USA from many places. You need not contribute money, you need only give time. Then there are voulenteer opportunities at VA Hospitals, the Salvation Army, Soup Kitchen in your community. Place that are tring to reach out and help Americans living on the street, living in homeless shelters, or out every day trying to help people living on the street because the homeless shelters have NO VACANCIES.

Humans didn't evolve from "monkeys" or I assume you mean apes. Humans share a evolutionary ancestry line with apes but branched off. Humans are not direct decedents of apes though. They are more accurately our evolutionary cousins.

Could he post quotes from the Quran about how Islam is not a religion. That it is a way of government, art, business, and everything else.
 
I think people need to wake up and realize after the massacre in San Bernadino, Califronia. They are coming to get us, I expect there will be more attacks like this in other places in the USA. The sad part is we have elected a president twice who has not the common sense, or intellengence to believe we the people of the USA are the targets of religious extremists.

My other half & I went out for a bite to eat the Christmas Day I saw an open table near an emergency exit where I have a good view of everything going on in the resturant. She know why we sit were we do, why we don't go to major sport venues, why we don't go to mall or places large group of people gather at one.

Are we paranoid? I say no we are prepared. Until this threat is over, our leaders take serious steps to end this threat, and all their religious extremist are no more. This is how we shall live our lives. Like the Boy Scout Moto say: Being Prepared.

Since this thread is open on politicis and such....so far.......one thing i always enjoy when it comes to the msm is when the shooters arent hill billy christians waving a concederate battle flag they lose interest very quickly. Bad people rank in different importance when it comes to the msm......and govt for that matter.

This is a war with two sides. Some can call it over religion, some can call it over culture or way of life. One thing is for sure there is/are no switzerlands here. Not that switzerland was really neutral. If you arent with theae isis clowns you are the enemy and they will kill you. It truly is that simple....like it or not. People do need to accept that reality and quickly.

You are referring to the same President who cast aside politics completely and sent a SEAL team into an "allied" country in a secret overnight raid to hunt down and execute Osama Bin Laden and his family in their heavily guarded military compound? There's just no pleasing you right wing extremists.

In the last two weeks, I've spent innumerable hours on crowded subways, in crowded city shopping centers, flown cross country multiple times, been to an NFL game in a sold out stadium, and sat with my back to who knows how many emergency exits in bars and restaurants in 3 major metropolitan cities. I have not once felt fearful of terrorists. Why should I? If I got killed in one of these cowardly terrorist attacks, then I would be dead. I will be one day anyway. Americans living in fear is victory to those nut jobs. Your behavior is exactly what they want. They are the boss of you.

Lighten up and live a little.
 
I'm wondering why this thread is still open?

Anywhere else, the political and religious responses going on here would not be tolerated.
