the video is highly suspect, and by that i mean its crap. i would probably stay away from the clairion projects message, just because of their relationship with aisha hatorah.

I honestly think NormP deserves an award for his post on page # 4. I mention the Department of Veterians Affairs not serving those the earn benefits to Veterains who served & earn said benefit is the US Military. Veterians to me should be a trop priority of our government helping. They are one of the broken internal problem I spoke of. Yes I know this for sure because I use the VA Healthcre & Benefit System, and it fell short of delivering me benefit for many years.

But if you want to black & white, you can read the TOP STORY in this am addition of the U.K. Mail. Makes me mad, makes me sick to my stomach, make me ashamed of the Department of Veterians Affairs.

and i would agree w/ normp as well. we have enough problems of our own that need to be addressed, but that still doesnt mean people should blame islam as a religion or use it as a reason not to support refugees. that is just idiotic. you can cry all you want about the muslims coming to america, to bring sharia law to a town near you, but really people. that is ridiculous. all that talk is to divert you away from the real issues at hand. muslims dont want to come here to force you into islam, they want to come here for the same reason everyone wants to come here. to make money. pure and simple. i have lived in north africa and traveled to egypt. i can tell you from first hand experience, people from that region want the same thing we do. make money, drive a nice car, have nice things, and have a good time. money is the number one issue around the world, and whom ever controls its flow controls you. money is the number one recruiting tool in north africa for terrorists. and i believe its the same tool used else where in the world. just from what i have seen online. terrorist organizations promise a steady income and housing. that is something alot of young men dont have in that region. they are lured away by the promise of money and a way to support there families back home. then they get there and its too late. is terrorism a threat here? hell yeah its a threat. just like anything else is a threat. stay vigilant, be aware, be prepared. our first priority should be to our families, then friends and neighbors. once we have our local issues addressed, then we can worry about the rest of the world. and for the love of GOD, pay attention to where you get your information from. dont accept one source for your news, they all have an agenda.

A good post.^
My son was just taught in school that the George Washington cherry tree story was not true.

Found this artical when I was read the later edition of the U.K. Mail, about the tent cities that are popping up across the USA, where displaced Americans now call home.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...try-s-homeless-enjoy-community-Christmas.html

Another reason we need not import problems into the USA, until our problems at home are resolved. Why is it we have to read a publication from the UK to find out abut those situations.

Maybe the liberials in the USA do not want the real truth know?

People fleeing war are not a 'problem' to be imported, and if the families are placed well they will be productive residents working towards citizenship within a couple of years, not a drain at all.

There's the matter of US actions that aggravated the conflict they were subjected to in Syria, and the obvious point that homeless US citizens won't be helped anyway, regardless of what happens with our asylum obligations.

Seriously, if the discussion was about housing every homeless American using our ample empty housing, you would be against it because it would be too socialist.

There's no need to pretend a concern for American homeless has anything to do with your objections.

What is your definition of “well placed”, are you offering part of your home to house them? Are you going to teach them english? Are you going to teach them a way to make a living, and not live off GA, AFDC, Food Stamps, and get Medicaid?

Like many American are on GA, AFDC, Food Stamps, and getting Medicaid? Who would like to have a full time job with benefits, and a place to live.

There's the matter of US actions that aggravated the conflict they were subjected to in Syria, and the obvious point that homeless US citizens won't be helped anyway, regardless of what happens with our asylum obligations.

So are you saying America is to blame for the civil war in their county. I understand there are people who live in the USA and hold America responsible for everything going wrong in the world. Michael Moore is one that come to mind. The same guy who net worth is 50 million bucks.

Maybe these refugees who are able bodied men need to fight on their home turf to take their country back, join the rebels trying to do just that , and not run away from trouble.

Seriously, if the discussion was about housing every homeless American using our ample empty housing, you would be against it because it would be too socialist.
So is this “ample housing” free housing, or do the owners want first, last & security? Many of the homeless can not find work, have been laid off, or companies where they worked went under. So they are un & under employed & will have to star over again from scratch.
There's no need to pretend a concern for American homeless has anything to do with your objections.

If you read my post I mentioned Homeless & Veterans who are struggling. I do not pretend I work volunteering my time to several groups that work with homeless veterans, veterans in transitional housing trying to move to an apartment, veterans who have complete drug & alcohol rehabilitation who also are trying to move from transitional housing , and veterans leaving the military who have to try & find work to transition back to the civilian side of the economy.

Also several in my little group of work helping veterans find their way in the VA system. By helping them file compensation claims, and get care at the VA when they become frustrated with a very over taxed system.

Like I said and will say again. America needs to take care of it own problems, before taking on any problems from across the sea, or from Southern or Northern borders.

I pray that god will help this country get off of it's knees and back on it's feet. Well said Mr. Emerson

Praying is like wishing it only works when people get involved to change things. My grandson who has an IQ over 170 was discussing creation verses evolution with my other half the other day. (His grandmother) He asked her if she believes that a higher form created everything, who created the higher being?

If we wait for government to solve the problems that sit infront of our faces nothing will happen fast. If we as individuals just do things to try and make a difference, change things, and help our fellow Americans who are truely in need of help. We can do more in a couple of hours then the government can accomplish in years because of the layers and layer of government that slow down action.

Have to agree with Mr. Emerson.

Each of use are entitled to our own opinions. I still say fix America's internal problems. Before bringing people to the USA that will only leach off the system. We have enought home grown leaches, we need not more.

Just happened to spend most of the day at our local VAMC, and our hospital & its clinics are stretched thin to deliver earned benefits to veterans who earned said benefits.

I honestly don't care. My primary concern is that America walks away from this part of history with due process for all citizens, no unlawful or unwarranted searches or seizures for citizens, and the ability for all citizens who are legally eligible to bear arms to have that right. If anyone does not agree with that, then you might as well start burning flags.

Ill be packin the same gun on the daily, regardless. :)

I imagine it to be the Persian blade and the gypsy jack handle with gaudy embellishments.

Imagine all the irreligious Persians proud and captive in their country. Never underestimate the destructive power of stereotyping.

Living in SoCal has afforded me a great meeting of the World at large.

Be vigilant but compassionate.

Look at Canada's example recently.

Okay, you're a bigot.

Everyone is a bigot:

Simple Definition of bigot:
: a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group)

who defines strongly or unfairly?
I don't like rap OR opera music..does this mean I don't like people who's life revolves around rap or opera ? Am I a opera bigot? I've never met a person who's tried to shove rap or opera down my throat or push for it to be the only music except acceptable without penalty. If rap or opera was a threat to my families lives I definitely would be against it. It's called choices (standards) on how to pursue happiness.

EVERYONE IS A BIGOT. It's not a bad thing to have choices of how to live your life in disagreement with the ideas, culture, religion and standards of others for your own happiness (world peace is not achievable as long as people with free will live on this earth).
