i would love to get it, but i already have a 4 & 5 so i cant really justify spending $200 on the bk20. plus most of my money is going towards an AR, so its definitely not in the budget
 
I didn't even notice that it came with the 4 and 5. I already have two 4's and a 5 but those would be easy to sell. Or it wouldn't be bad to have an extra 4 to keep in the truck.
 
I spent a couple hours trying not to buy it because I dont really want another 4 or 5.. I haven't even used the last BK5 I bought yet but I will be sorry later if I pass this up. So I bought it. Man I love the looks of this.

I am pretty impressed how quiet everyone managed to keep this.

Probably going to have to lift my knife buying hiatus for this one.

I could also use another 4, seeing as how I can't find the one I convexed a couple years back.:grumpy:

Hell I talked to E yesterday on the phone and that old bastard didn't mention it!
 
Told Misti about it before I left for work and she said no. Now I linked her to it and said maybe I'll sell something to get one. Now I got a text with a pic of an email receipt from Kabar and a happy early birthday. She says she's making me wait til June 9th to play with it though.

Don't have one. I'm sure it will turn up eventually. There are many places for it to hide around here, barns, cabinets, closets, etc. If not I will just have to convex the spare I got from Dex and keep the one with the -20 as a spare.:D

I did get to check it out last spring and was impressed. I guess they didn't want a repeat of the tweener and RBK fiascos.
 
I have been really into buying old pocket knives lately. Ebay is so addictive. I have bought over 60 of them in the last 2 months.
 
I've been bidding on some fishing reels lately, but most have been bid up to more than they are worth to me. I did steal a Shimano Symetre a while back though.

I remember seeing the drawing at Blade, and then I got to play with it in October. It's rather beastly!

And this is why I do my damnedest to avoid eBay. I am on amazon and THAT is just an evilness in and of itself.
 
so I might be in the market for a new reel. any of you fisherman have a good suggestion? I'd prefer it to be a baitcast, and preferably under $50. mainly be used for bass and crappie. for reference all ivery ever really used are zebco 33's

Your going to move to a baitcaster without using one? They are hard. I like the open face spinning reels. I saw a bass pro baitcaster on their website for 39.99 the other day.
