Well, I am a less than happy camper as my camera seems to have grown legs.:grumpy:

I'm sure it is just tucked away in some box or bag by accident, but I have been looking for it since my 20 came in and I can confirm it is not in any vehicle or out building on the place and NOT in any logical place in the house.

So now I'm down to looking only in unlogical places. :(

Sucks not having a camera. Not even a phone or anything with a camera on it?

If I told my wife I couldn't find mine, she'd ask "which one?" When I was pursuing it as a potential side job, the equipment piled up pretty fast. Interesting how cameras, knives, and firearms all seem to do that.

I used to have an espresso rub for steaks that was actually pretty damn good. I never could find one that was quite as good as that one, and unfortunately I don't remember which it was. I think it came from Florida (if I remember correctly)...

There is a restaurant near Austin that makes a coffee-rubbed elk backstrap. The rub seems to mostly be espresso ground coffee. Pan-seared in cast iron to medium rare, it is to die for.

Calf Fry was a great time last night. saw sam riggs, corey smith, Aaron Watson, and Josh Abbott band. I have to admit, Aaron Watson might just be one of the best people I've seen in concert

This weekend:

How far are you from Somerville Mass Daizee ? I mean normally ?

Hey, Sylvie, I'm in southern RI - about as far from Somerville as you can get in Rhode Island (which isn't saying much). About 15 minutes from Mystic on I-95.

Good lord that sounds heavenly.

Just watched the first episode of "Alone" online. Sucked in big time. Right now pulling for Tracy (the gal with the BK7). The other girl has an ESEE 6 (pretty sure).
ME TOO! I've been thinking about it all week lol. I think Tracy and Mike have a good chance. They have an alone thread in the wilderness survival skills section if you're interested :)

Today's a good day, got both an axe and a BK16 in the mail, sad thing is the 16 is at home and I'm still at work. At least the axe got shipped to work instead, it's given me something to fondle.

Otherwise I keep myself busy with forklift donuts and similar shenanigans. Being alone in the warehouse is tedious at the end of the week.

Definitely looks like a good day! We used to have forklift races around the trucks when I worked for Coca Cola. Good times!

We actually accomplished a few things today. Got a bunch of running around done, wire wheeled the boat trailer, primed it, mowed the grass for the first time of the year, and organized the shed a bit.

Yep, my phone has a camera - it's just been dropped a few too many times. The pics it takes look like a drunk focusing a camera through a fishbowl of water. "Fuzzy" would be too nice a description.

Does anyone have the TKC g10 scales ona 14/24. Do they offer anything more than the Kabar zytel scales?

I have several 24's (most gifted to family members now) with them and like them a lot. They are a bit more "grippy" feeling to me than the zytel, and I love the color choices. For me, they were worth the cost.

Edit: I knew I had another set of photos somewhere.... Here are some group shots of the one I kept with the bigger siblings.
