Sadly no, not that I've heard. That was exactly what I ordered as I think it looks the best, but I listened to the advice of others who said that the canvas micarta was easier on the hands when under heavier use (more shock absorbing). They said the G10 was not as forgiving, so I caved and got black canvas micarta instead.

Just got mine last night, and while I'm in love with it, I have a hint of regret in not just going with the black G10 anyways. Could have always wrapped the handle with removable rubber wrap or just used gloves. Wonder if rehandling is an option Busse would allow? Good excuse to buy a second one if one ever pops up on the secondary market!

Regarding your request for pics, I'm hoping to post several of mine tonight along with some video if I can't find an appropriate hosting service that plays nice with the forums here.

Any suggestions anyone? Imgur? Any others?
 
Anyone ever had any shipping troubles with UPS?

I was supposed to receive my AFBM on Thursday but it wasn't delivered to me. As far as the signature, it said it was signed by "TR". I have a roommate, but he wasn't home at all on Thursday and his initials aren't TR. I live in a small community of townhomes, and I assume it was delivered to the wrong townhouse. I filed a claim/investigation but haven't heard anything back from UPS about it yet. I hope this gets settled soon, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience, and can let me know if they have any info or experience they can tell me about what to expect.

Really if you have to sign why aren't they looking at ID's? I know not everyone can spot a fake but who's making fakes for possible deliveries for their neighbors stuff anyways?

🤔 Townhouse Rental/Management office on premises there?

For some reason UPS just drops @ my home w/o signature these days, & their "proof of delivery" is them just stating that they dropped it here & my last name...lol 😏😄 I wonder how a sig required insurance claim would be resolved..a tad unnerving with expensive Busse packages, but it is a decent urban neighborhood, & my porch is less than convenient for the average package steaing pirate... 🤞

No, there is no management office.
I've never had this type of problem in the 10+ years I've lived there. I was home all day Thursday and I never heard the doorbell ring or the door be knocked and neither did my dog, hahaha. My ganza order arrived just a few days earlier, my 2 OMG 15's about a week earlier, etc. I guess I'm hoping that whoever received it is sending it back as return to sender. I'm just disappointed because I really wanted this knife a lot.
I like how Amazon takes pictures of their dropoffs. I'm hoping it didn't get dropped off and stolen, but I still don't know how neither me or my dog didn't hear it being dropped off, as long as the deliveryman knocked or rang the doorbell.
 
We have great UPS service here, and have had only one problem in 30 years. Our regular driver was on vacation and the temporary driver delivered to the neighbor one mile behind us. When I called the regular driver at home he explained about the vacation and fill-in driver. He said he would check into it and let me know what he found. The next day our regular driver and the temporary driver showed up here with my package which had been opened by my neighbor. Apparently the scumbag was going to keep it (a Cold Steel sword) if nobody followed up on it. Kudos to our UPS driver and curses to my scumbag neighbor.

That's what I'm worried about. I'm on very good terms with my usual USPS driver, but not so much with my UPS & FedEx drivers. I live in South Florida and my USPS guy has been the same for the 10+ years I've lived at my place. FedEx & UPS are different almost every time. I'm worried that a neighbor accidentally got it and opened it (once before I received a package for my neighbor. I was expecting a package, so I didn't even look at the shipping label, opened it up, and said, "what the eff is this!". I then brought it over to my neighbor and apologized. Luckily it's was a pair of women's shoes and she wasn't mad at me. I'm worried a shady neighbor got it, opened it up, and said, "I'm keeping this!" 🤦🏼‍♂️
 
Now today I got delivered two AFBM, one stonewashed one satin, the stonewashed I want to use (it is better for the scratches from using) and one (satin) for my collection.
I must say the shape from the AFBM is really gorgious. The best now and therefore I bought the AFBM it is really thin behind the edge (the other big busse are also fine but for me not thin enough). These AFBM are big knives and they cut and they chopp, both must be super because behind the edge only 0.025. And for me it is not necessary to cut cars or motorblocks. I am totally satisfied. Great Job Busse, thankyou very much.
