The Sardinian connection.

That green is truly outstanding! Mint chopper.....:D Really suits the knife, and more evidence that traditional & modern can meet and work remarkably well with each other.

My congratulations, Will

Nal0n - I don't know if this style knife is one he works on, I know they need to be stainless steel, but you could always see if "Art in Stone" would handle one in jade for you.

Or, see if A knows anyone their how works in Jade.

Thanks Wade, I already know "Art in Stone". saving up to be able to afford one of those beautiful Peanuts ;)
And while I like friction folders ... and classical European patterns ... it is too early for me to go totally custom on those kinds of knives :(

And if I could I would try to get one in Bowenite. In my opinion it has more interesting hues to offer than Jade ;)

Hello again,

Just about the different materials possible. Pattadese' handles can be made of many materials. BUT you have to keep in mind that with the use the friction will be loose and will need to be tightened. For this you (or the craftman) will have to hammer the axis. If the material is to hard, to rigid, it will break.
It's why the original material is horn. It's very very flexible and can be hammed without problem.

I don't think that stone could resist.

Best regard :D:thumbup:
