The Sebenza is 21 years old!

Ok, after a bit of mind-use, and understanding of the post. I found the good side! :D

Regarding my last post, I think its great that there is ONLY one kind of basic sebenza, like in the old times to choose, and it is exactly like the old one except it has a little change in the handles. Is this new classic sebbie going to be available with wood inlays?

Thanks,

Antonio

Too bad about the regular...That was my favorite pattern. luckily I have one of both sizes!

I heard about this on another forum. I called in a pre-order for a small Sebenza 21!! I am sooooo excited about this!!

Is it safe to assume that all of the standard inlays currently available with Classic will be remain available with the 21?

I'm getting terribly confused here. Is my small Regular now a classic while my Classic is still in production?

Hello Capt. Carl

Why Torx instead of Allen/Hex?

Antonio

The Hex are easier to strip than the torx. The shape of the torx allows a lot more torque on the screw than the hex and its a lot harder to slip with the driver. I have already stripped the clip screw on one of my sebs because of that and I've had some near stripping incidents too. I learned to be more careful now but I think there would be a lot less problems with torx.

But you need a good Torx driver, or you can strip the driver itself. I doubt CRK would switch at this point. That little hex key is famous! :D

Good and bad news from my standpoint. I love the regular design:( Hopefully the new folder will make me happy:D

I've never been a fan of the CGGs, but the "Straight Ahead" is gorgeous. It reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass.

God !
I still got "Knife illustrated" with a Classic Sebenza mauled in a log !
Go figure !!!

Cheers
JM
