Headkicker what Branch are you if I may ask?
Wow. I didn't know the DEA was involved in Afganistan. Good for you guys. I understand convincing the farmers to stop growing poppy and pot and growing food stuffs is a big challange. Best of luck to you and your team.
Respectfully James, farmers and poppy growing is related to nation building, crop selection and erradication. We have absolutely nothing to do with that. We action interdiction, cache sites, laboratory, and HVT capture missions. With but ten of us in the country at one time, our efforts are effectively targeted at the narco-terrorist threat, and the organizations that most threaten both our country and Afghanistan. I write this as a clarification because everyone who hears about us, but is unaware of our actual operations, incorrectly assumes we are pulling up poppy plants or giving presentations to the villages like a D.A.R.E. officer.
Sorry about that. I'm familair with the type of operations the local law enforcement agencies do and equatied the DEA with that on a grand scale. Thanks for setting me straight.
Absolutely no reason to apologize and I did not mean to sound like a pr1ck. I only meant to explain.
