The Silver Lining: A Stainless Traditional Showcase

That one is sawcut bone?
Yes. It is bone. 😊
All the "OTB" have bone covers. The "B" stands for bone.
The OTB knives also have 9CR18MoV blades. Supposedly "440C" eqivalent.
(Tho a web search today said it is VG10 equivalent, in edge retention and corrosion resistance as well.)

I bought it because I wanted a 440C large stockman.

Very nice. I’ll have to look into those.

Edit: Took a look at those 858s, are they the same size as a case large stockman?
I was digging around in the knife den and it turns out I have an 8OTB still in the packaging. I had set it aside as a gift and ended up going another direction.
Like finding money in an old pair of pants 😆

No. The Case x375 is only 4 1/4 inches closed.
The 858's are 4 5/8 inches closed.
Both carry quite well loose in the bottom of the pocket. (IMHO ... some may disagree.)
😇👍

The Tuna Valley line of knives nearly always use 154CM stainless steel blade/springs. (there were a few GEC made ones that used 440c steel, and a few specialty ones with Damascus steel blades). These are most of my burnt stag variations from 2009-2024. I'll need to get an updated photo sometime that includes some others.

Very nice collection!

Yeah. Choke tool/screwdriver/pry bar. I've never used it, because all my shotguns with interchangable chokes came with their own dedicated tools.
Very cool. It’s a nice tool to have on a bird knife.
