I need to get some Eneloops, fo sho. The Efest 10440's make that little ThruNite Ti3 blaze like you wouldn't believe, but it sure does get hot fast.

Just started etching it again. Gonna do one more hour per side, and call it quits. I will strip it eventually. Gonna take it to the cabin with me next time I go, to give it a workout. Wanted to preserve the logos before I did.

I started buying eneloops not too long ago and couldn't be happier. I use the heck out of my Fenix E12 and keep an Eneloop in it. Battery life has been really good with them.

10-4. Definitely a good idea to get the etch a bit deeper before you wear some of the coating off.

Yeah, I've read nothing but good about the Eneloops.. I recently purchased a NiteCore-i2-V2014, "smart" battery charger. It detects which type battery it is automatically, and starts charging. It will even charge two different types of batteries at once.



Capable of charging 2 batteries simultaneously
Each of the two battery slots monitors and charges independently
Compatible with and identifies Li-ion (26650, 22650, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500, 18350, 16340(RCR123), 14500, 10440), Ni-MH and Ni-Cd (AA, AAA, AAAA, C) rechargeable batteries
Automatically detects battery status and selects the appropriate voltage and charge mode
3 Color LED displays charging progress for each battery

Eneloops are great, nearly everything in this house that takes AAs run eneloops now. And I got the nitecore D2 and love it Dubs. Same as the one you got i believe just with a digital screen. The screen is nice for letting me know actual voltage, charge time and charge rate.... Not a big of a deal for my flashlights, but for some other stuff knowing the voltage is helpful... Nitecore makes good batteries and chargers! Their 3400mAh battery (NL189) is Amazing.

Sweet deal. The chargers are very reasonably priced as well.

Glad the surgery is over thats for sure.

The pain is pretty constant right now. And that sucks. But i figure a few days of pain is better than a lifetime of it. And im sure if i took one of those pills they gave me the pain might go down a bit.... But i fully "plan" on just waiting it out... I now have Vicodin, Percocet, and Ibuprofen... Worse case scenario, if i get to a point i can no longer handle the pain i will take an ibuprofen... Hope its not needed, but my normal medicinal herb honestly isnt doing much of anything for this type of pain..... I keep trying anyways though HAHAHAHA

Words i spell wrong 9 out of 10 times....

nice - I like the idea behind the fat bike, but that's a lot of $$ for a set of self powered wheels in my mind.

Speaking of healing up, the wife's cousin's family is in town. They flew his 8 m/o baby into the children's hospital here. The little guy was born premature with a slew of issues and has been in and out of the hospital for the majority of his life. After a recent tracheotomy and a scare with a particularly nasty infection, his dad made the call to bring him here. Unfortunately, it looks like they will be here for a while. This young family could definitely use some smoke & prayers.

I tell you what though, that little guy is going to be one tough kid after all this. :thumbup:
