So i just noticed a bunch of stitches that i was completely unaware of.... Weird when that happens LMAO.

Last time that happened to me, I woke up naked with a terrible hangover in a hotel bathtub full of ice and was missing a kidney. So qwitcher bitchin'.

The best way to prevent boil over is just to eat that stuff uncooked. Nancies.

Crunchy!

Brother right now i would happily welcome the hangover, and may offer a piece of lung to go with the kidney.... I have certainly seen better days.

Ugh, sore throat and tired, grandpa had the same thing a couple days ago and now he's got a nasty cold. Great. :grumpy:

Hah, If I had done what you had done; I'd be wearing an ice helmet, and popping those pills like candy. Then going for a long nap :D

Ok, we just found a double-brick construction free-standing building with 12' ceilings. The price is staggeringly low for about 1500 sq feet of space. No yard, but there is parking space. On the surface this sounds like our perfect space. Oh, did I mention that it also has a vault?

Pics?...of the vault. :)

I shouldn't tease ya... that's a lot of work to have done all at once. Hang in there. You'll be smilin' when it's all done and healed up :) (see what I did there? :p)

Oops, I did it again....

Looks like I have to wait a couple hours before I can vote again... remind me in the morning

Thanks brother, the teasing is welcomed though... I appreciate it actually. Making light of it takes my mind off it a bit...

Its embarrassing at my age, and quite painful at the moment.... But i consider a lot of you real friends and having your support through it in a positive way is very helpful and appreciated!!

I took a picture... Its not real pretty so i wont just post it up without warning... But if you guys wanna see it i will show it....

What is it with Canadians and these vaults? Gus, what the hell are y'all storing safely up there?

Canada is like a newly developing Switzerland. Full of secret bank accounts. Just small, starter ones.

Took a little walk with my new CamelBak BFM, then set up the three sap buckets I've been late getting to....I think I've got a couple very elderly maples. Nothing came out on the first two I did, bu the next two? Holy crap...I was pulling the drill out of the hole and the sap started running out. Doubt we'll get much all told, but it'll be a fun family project - and our house will smell like maple syrup :).

Makes me drool just a little.

A few years back we got to go up into New Hampshire and Vermont for a few days about this time of year and got to see buckets on trees, and go in a working sugar shack, and enjoy some fresh maple syrup goodness. That's amazing stuff. I don't envy the ridiculous amounts of snow, but I certainly do the maple.

Somehow managed to tear a huge hole in the seat of my pants at work today, and I was on the main gate too. Luckily I was able to hide it and I don't think anyone noticed.
Seems like every day there's more crap coming down the pipe at work and it's getting hard to stomach. Just scheduled a test with the TSA for a position in Juneau, AK. I aced the test about 5 years ago but changed my mind about becoming a TSO back then. Given my security experience I should be a shoe-in for the TSA if I don't get the job at the dam in Oregon.

You can see the sap drool down the tree where I didn't get the bucket up fast enough. I was astonished at how fast - like, while I was drilling the hole for the spile - the sap started coming out. Probably not too many more days that the sap will be flowing, and I missed the beginning of the window....oh, well. I've been meaning to do this for years, so I'm just happy I finally put my buckets in the ring. I took a little video of the sap flowing, but haven't uploaded it yet. Soon....

OK, like, now...
