Getting some nasty weather around here today, multiple tornados on the ground all over the state.
A pretty big one just passed within a mile of my sisters house in Tulsa, blew the roofs off of some houses near her. Going to be a long night

Whelp just came out of the shelter a little bit ago. Tornados here and there... Got pretty nasty for a bit but we had fun wrangling the kids down in the shelter. Before we got the warning I was cooking bacon so we got to sit down there, eat bacon, and cuties/oranges lol. Things should be alright but looks like there are others who are not as fortunate.
Only bad thing is the power is out. Hopefully they can get it all put back together safely.

Moore got hit again! So sad... Scary too because of how close it is. Our power came back on so its back to the norm for us, but seems like there's been some damage, not a good start to the storm season.

The first time I applied I think it took a few months between applying and taking the CBT, which is normal for any government agency. Now that I'm in the system and everything I get invites through the dashboard pretty quick.

I've never watched "Top Gear", and I likely never will. So frankly, all this "controversy" about one of the hosts getting fired for throwing his "weight" (or hands) around ranks very high on my "Zero F***s Given" list. On the face of it, I gotta say it mostly sounds like a jackwagon with more ego than business sense getting jusssst a little too full of himself. *shrug*
But regardless, I will say this much... I don't give a fat flying leap at a rolling bale of barbed wire how important or talented or whatever you think you are, if you physically assault, and/or publicly embarass the guy who signs your paycheck, you're gonna get canned. That's just how it works.
The highest-paid TV star in history proved that a year or two ago. So, there's that.
Because let's get real for a minute... if everyone could get away with knocking out or humiliating their jerk of a boss, the whole world's economy would just collapse and come to a screeching halt.
In other news, I quite happily confused, frightened and humiliated a door-to-door scam artist in my own yard earlier tonight, without raising my voice, cussing, or throwing a punch, and sent him scurrying out of my 'hood like a scalded cur. And I gotta tell ya, it was the most pure fun I've had in a long, long time
