Picked the Gawdawful green Izula up at SMKW this weekend (as well as a pink one for the wife) & a buddy gave me the bear bottle opener. I'm not sure which one I was the most exited about.
Nice looking package Gus!
giggity
Today was a bit of a slow day at work. In my downtime I started doodling and designing a few blades. I think I may have scared one of my co-workers a little bit hehe. None of them were full size, I think I may scale a few to size and cut em out to see if I like em.

I dont have the tools to make a knife but i love drawing them up.
It was a good gear weekend. A project a buddy and I tested worked marvelously and I have a few new toys to play with:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...kerhead-Grind-in-(Only-semi-off-topic!)-W-I-P! I actually made a thread about it... I will tell you I am cheating and I'll tell you how. I talked with James and I am sending him the blade to make sure the edge is even and straight before getting it heat treated... Everything else I did.You made a knife with only 11 dollars worth of tools?
If so PLEASE show me what you did and ill get started right away LMAO![]()
I've been _that guy_ when it comes to acquiring power tools for jobs around the house. The only two things I am missing right now is a drill press and a large belt grinder. The drill press I will buy eventually. The large belt grinder I'm going to build with my brother in-law when I finish my garage. I have a 8 or 10hp electric motor sitting here waiting to be hooked up
