I just watched the first episode of the new medical drama "The Night Shift" Talk about fast paced and intense.

It shows some bodies all opened up, and some people die of course so if your squeamish or easily upset you might want to pass on this one. But I liked the first episode so ill be following along.
 
Alright, alright... Who has the coffee? I'm here...

Been taking care of papa since Thursday, I don't think anyone else in the family really does it right (for one they are out of town now so I HAVE to) but they all try to force him onto their schedule, sleep when they sleep, up when they are up, eat when they want to. I recognize his schedule doesn't work like that so I've been trying to go by his schedule... Which is pretty much opposite of the rest of the world's. So, he just went to sleep at 0600, it took me another hour of cleaning up and calming down to get to sleep. Now I'm back up because I have stuff I need to do today... Been like this since Thursday. Running on 3-4 hours of sleep is ROUGH lemme tell you!
 
My body has FINALLY gotten use to 5 hours of sleep a night. I used to do 2-3 hours a night and was fine but I'm not that young anymore... :(
 
I drank more beer saturday night than I have had in the last 6 months.. Had the first real hangover that I have had in years.
Yesterday, made stuffed burgers with bacon sauteed caramelized onions, butter sauteed mushrooms with elephant garlic, fresh diced jalapeno, and jalapeno jack cheese in the middle of about a pound and half of ground beef... I think It was by far the best burgers I have ever made. My buddy made pepper cured bacon wrapped chicken tenders with jalapeno strips inside the bacon. I didn't have enough room to abuse my liver for a third night.

I skimmed the pages of snark I missed.. Sorry about the camping trip WW... Love the garden pic Mr. T... Love the pile of booty Mr. Hunt, also glad to hear the transition is going good.. What is that knife in the lower left hand of the pic? Hope all is well with your father in law Warrior, and love the pics of your grandson!

Funny story about stuffed burgers. My best friend (usually call him my brother for ease of discussion) has a sister and I spent a lot of time over at their house. When she started dating this new guy the family wanted me over to meet him. When I got there we were talking about supper and he(will be called D.N. ((Douche Nozzle)) for this story) told the girl "Why don't you go to the kitchen and make supper, that is a female's job." Considering I was working as a S'ous Chef at the time I was quite taken aback and I offered to make supper. Which I made burgers (90/10 ground chuck, pork sausage, and ground veal) stuffed with carmelized onions, rendered pepper bacon, and bleu cheese(or gruyere for the non bleu cheese lovers) on a brioche bun, fresh cut french fries twice fried, with grilled asparagus.

Good luck man! While Manpower might not be "The BEST!" it's a job and that is something! Good on you for not being satisfied with being a welfare bum!
 
The guy sounds like a winner CBear, lol If your mind is that closed, you deserve the hard time life is going to give you, at least stupid people that sprout crap like that usually have no filter, so you can ignore them even quicker. ... and bleu cheese in the middle sounds really good and I don't really like bleu cheese. I will have to try that sometime.

Unfortunately she married him anyway... Despite NONE of the family giving it their blessing. That was a year ago and it's been a ROUGH year since then.... They are living in Jacksonville, Florida now (so far away from her family, and his family too for that matter) and she is ridiculously home sick. But when I get asked I just respond "Not my circus, not my monkey" which is a GREAT response to me.

DEFINITELY do the bleu cheese in the middle, HOWEVER get a good bleu cheese, don't get a super strong one it will overpower everything. Go with like a Maytag bleu cheese and you'd be good. Do NOT use a Danskblu... It's too strong of a bleu.
