Someone just lost a lot of money. I use to dig pits for the cable companies whenever there was a cut or damaged cable or fiber optic so they could fix them. Its very costly. Im talking 10 grand on the lower end to well above 100,000 in repair costs. Thats what they told me anyways.
Probably why my cable bill keeps going up.

Im jealous too Mike. Sounds like a great time.

One of you Beckerheads need to move up here to this crap hole just so i have someone to go out and play with knives with every now and again.

I know, thats selfish. So be it :D

Or you could just move to southern Colorado. Actually, no. Don't do that. It kinda sucks here actually.

So I financed my land down in Florida back in Aug of 2012. It was a 15 year loan. But i been paying extra. Sent an email the other day to find out how long before its paid off if i keep paying the amount i been paying. Found out Nov 2016. I guess thats a lot better than 2027.. But interests is an SOB thats for sure.

Still its nice to get a date, cant wait to get out of here.

That's the way to do it.

So got my GP100 back from Ruger today. It was spitting lead or unburnt powder and hitting my left cheek when I shot it so I sent it in to get fixed. They replaced the barrel at no charge (despite the gun having been made in 1989 according to the serial number) and even threw in a whole new set of textured grips that come on the Talo exclusive model. Nice.

LMAO!!

My training in the Army was over a year long. There were only 5 of us going through the program at the time. And we were considered a BIG class for this job..I barely even made it into the program, I was the only one out the 5 to have no college experience and was in last place as far as grades go the entire time... But one of the things we had to learn was fusion splicing.... And during that part of the schooling, and that part only, i was the star LMAO... Which had a lot to do with working with cable and fibers before i joined.

When it came to the binary code classes, schematic reading, and on hands diagnostics though........ Yea i was the only one to fail a test and was almost removed from the program. You only get 1 fail, i barely passed the make-up. I was studying my ass off the entire time and never got anywhere near a perfect score on any of the test. That was some HARD stuff. Some of the other guys had no problems though.

I looked into buying some cheap land in Colorado and Missouri a while back actually. One day i may still do it.

They said someone accidentally sliced into a fiber optics cable.

That looks damn good cbear.
That's why you're supposed to call JULIE before you dig!

It was amazingly yummy!

That is nice! I have no idea when I'm getting out of here. Hopefully it's before 2027 to!

I had to interpret a binary class, it was SO MUCH FUN! I had a blast! However I'm crazy like that. I still like using Binary when just screwing around for the fun of it.

Colorado was just fine two years ago, and might go back to how it was after this year. But I can't talk about that stuff here. I've only been to Kansas City, MO and I enjoyed it but it was humid as crap.

Yea you are crazy. I felt so out of place in those classes. I made a comment to one of the instructors after i graduated from the program that they should raise the minimum requirements because i should of never made it out.... Funniest part about that is the same instructor ended up going back out into the field and ended up being my NCOIC in South Korea... Where he ALWAYS reminded me i should have never made it out the program LMAO He would also call me the grunt that got lucky, because i kept good PT scores and had an expert marksman badge but had no idea how to do the job i was placed in. I called him HNIC... Meaning head nerd in charge... But only behind his back, and once when he was drunk LMAO The guy could hold a grudge and you never wanna piss of your boss when you cant leave the job and he cant just fire you... They have ways to make life hell LOL

To be fair, I didn't TAKE the class, I just had to interpret it, and it was not for the army.

Oh i know bud, im saying your crazy just for liking that :p

Im just kidding man. Even though i wasnt great at the technical brainy stuff i still enjoyed the job and trying to keep up.

Pfft. There was a time that one of these threads would be done in less than a week!! It was known as the great Clichening.

Haha, that's fantastic.
So what are you up to Wildcat?

Just got home from work a bit ago. I'm watching westerns and waiting for some hot dish to warm up, so I can have supper. Also looking at nerf bars for my pickup. I think I'm going to go with Nfab bars.

I usually just put the TV on one of the Encore western channels in the morning. The one on now is call disappearances. It has cars in it, so not much of a western. Something better will cone on later.
