LMAO!!
My training in the Army was over a year long. There were only 5 of us going through the program at the time. And we were considered a BIG class for this job..I barely even made it into the program, I was the only one out the 5 to have no college experience and was in last place as far as grades go the entire time... But one of the things we had to learn was fusion splicing.... And during that part of the schooling, and that part only, i was the star LMAO... Which had a lot to do with working with cable and fibers before i joined.
When it came to the binary code classes, schematic reading, and on hands diagnostics though........ Yea i was the only one to fail a test and was almost removed from the program. You only get 1 fail, i barely passed the make-up. I was studying my ass off the entire time and never got anywhere near a perfect score on any of the test. That was some HARD stuff. Some of the other guys had no problems though.
