Dumbfounded. Obviously, none of you pinkos have had a Krispy Kreme glazed just after it came off the conveyor. :p

Still pipin' hot... yup, they're decent that way... although frankly I think part of that is just the fun of it. Otherwise... meh. The ones from a little deli called Kreger's back home were way, way better, even once they cooled off.

I'm not really a big donut guy anyway; in fact I don't even remember the last time I had one. Nor do I drink coffee. :barf:

But despite all these (and many more) character flaws, I am not now, nor have I ever been, a communist. :D

I will take a bacon wrapped Maple glazed Krispy Kream and put a kobi beef half pound burger drenched in melted brownsugar brie cheese on top with another bacon wrapped Krispy Kream as the top bun, then cover it in batter, deep fry it and cover it all in powdered sugar. and have it with some creamcheese and bacon stuffed fried jalepeneos, with ranch dipping sauce and 2 pitchers of Guinness.

P.S. And I am not posting pics either cause thats just how I feel like rolling tonight.

Well Gentlemen,

I followed through on my afternoon plans at my in-laws. My drink for the night with a little bit of knife content.

I then had a few more 50/50 over proof rum and cokes and had a little nap in the hammock. I woke up in time for fireworks and found the temperature has dropped significantly lol!

Awesome day!

OK, So why the heck did you not invite me over! lol!

I just had virtual cardiac blockage. And a Kremegasm.

I just bought burgers at the local butcher and bacon to add more fat in. then placed an order for 80/20 burgers instead of their usual 95% lean.
That's all just to prove I'm not a commie. :D

we've got several local donut places in RI that are better than DD and KK - and mind you, donuts and ice-cream are like the state foods or something.

I enjoyed stroking the donut nerve for a bit there, you friggin' bunch of reds. :D
I grew up with Krispy Kremes and enjoy their sugary melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
However, I don't doubt that long-time local establishments serve up amazing donuts of a different ilk.

3 mile run. Check.
Ibuprofen. Check.
Protein bar. Check.
Ice packs. Check.
Cut the grass. Crap.

The grass can always be cut tomorrow! that extra 1/8th inch it may grow overnight will not matter!

Right now you need to go for a dip in a therapeutic spa hot tub :D

Interesting bit of trivia. KK opened up here in Canada a few years ago, and after a strong start, closed many of its shops. Initially some believed that this stumble was due to KK underestimating Tim Horton's "superior" doughnut offerings. Later analysis showed that Canadian's preferred the broader food offerings at Tim's over the relatively desert-oriented menu at KK.

Not only do we have socialized medicine, but we also seem to prefer sandwiches with our coffee. lol
