210 is 60% of what number?

And how do you figure it out?

I understand how to take 60% off of 210 or just figuring what 60% of 210 is... 210*.6 = 126 and 210-126 = 84

But for the life of me right now i cant remember how to do it the other way....

I guess my brain just works differently, but when I read the problem, I just "SAW" 60% = 3/5 of 100%, and 210/3 = 70 * 5 = 350 in my head. Took like 2 seconds to calculate and a minute to figure out how I did it.

I have one of these in all black, pretty light weight. I havent used it yet though. But it might make an OK cooler and grill for those times im off sitting by a creek fishing by myself. Thats what i got it for anyways. It all packs up in the case.

I need me a new fresh water rod and reel for this year. Havent even started shopping for it yet though.

On another note i am going deep sea fishing out of New Jersey next Saturday on a nice charter boat, man i cant wait. I havent went salt water fishing in years, well nothing id count as real fishing anyways... Man i miss it. Friday is mine and the wife's 9 year anniversary and thats what she got me. Cant wait, im excited. I hope come next Sunday im posting pictures of a nice catch. But even if i catch nothing... Being out on the water on a boat will make me more than happy.

Thanks man, i was hoping youd come back and help me out with that :D

I could see the answer, but i wanted to know how to get that answer. Now it makes sense.

Believe it or not, i was great in math when i was in high school. I have always been pretty good at test as well. I graduated a year early top 10 of my class.. Granted there was only a little over 50 people in my senior class... But i did pretty good in school, The school counselor told me i would have been awarded a decent scholarship, except for the fact i was kicked out of school in the 10th grade and made to go to a school for troubled kids for a year, and i guess that made it harder for them to award me a decent scholarship.. But i did test out and skip 11th grade and i did get a 500 dollar scholarship for the most improved student in the county. But 500 is nowhere near enough money to go to school.

But my memory is one thing that has been really affected by the TBI and Post-traumatic epilepsy, they say the mix of that and the fact i never sleep much plays a huge roll in my memory loss and problems with even short term memory. There are entire sections of my life i cant remember. And i dont mean like at 5 years old... I cant remember a lot of my teenage years, i cant even remember the entire week when i was hurt, the only story i know is what they told me.... And WHO knows how accurate that is LOL..

Thanks man for the help!!

Sure thing. I do this stuff for a living, after all. :)

cbwoods, I just built an AR not too long ago. It's not as hard as you'd think. You can do a pretty decent one under 550 if you watch the PSA daily deals.

 Thats awesome you could do it that fast in your head. Hell even with a calculator i didnt know where to start before we discussed it.

My brain works a little different too... Just not for solving math problems LMAO

Mostly done with this guy. Nicely balanced piece of 3V that's nearly 1/4" thick. It's about the same length as a 16, but beefy as a sharpened prybar. Got another one with a swedged straight clip that I'll probably finish up next. What do you all think?

The Weber Smokey Joe is like $30. Its a small/portable charcoal grill. Its all I'm using right now, beings its time to get a new gas grill. Pick one up and I bet you will like it. There's a bit of a learning curve in using the right amount of charcoal and how much air to let it have, but it tastes great.

Thanks!

Google says it is pretty widely available, so I will look for it at the local stores.

Started switching up in my edc rotation again. It was time for the Kabar Dozier folding hunter. Had great experiences with it in the past, and now that I'm carrying it again... Wow, I'm pretty amazed all over again. One of the sharpest (if not the sharpest) knives I own. Good grip, nice thick stock yet very thin edge. AUS8 does pretty good too. Me likey. Pairs up nicely with a 14.

Any other fans of the dozier folding hunter among my fellow beckerheads?

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!

Looking in Facebook afterwards, Pennywise there was photographed a lot and all the comments were pretty much the same. I swear he made a different face for each picture though.

That looks really nice, what kind of grind?

Sweet looking knife Crimson!

I would steal that clown and run it over with my car. That is creepy.

Ugh. With the way that clowns' hand is, and the angle of his lapel, for a second there it looked like he was holding a machax or something. Sooo not sleeping tonight.

So i spent a few hours this morning trying to pick a hydration bag to take out deep sea fishing with me since ill be out there for hours..... I want one that has extra storage room, at least enough for a cell phone, camera, wallet, pack of smokes, and keys.... And i need it under 50 shipped....

So after searching, reading, watching you tube reviews and stuff i decided i liked the TETON Sports Oasis1100 Hydration Backpack..... But after all that i go to order it and notice it says 1-2 month before it ships... So that wont work, i need it by next Friday.

Any recommendations?
