So I took today off because of my stupid sinus infection. Got horse pills from the doctor and some spray crap. Found out a new park has opened up about a mile away and the weather is just awesome out. Took the kids to the park. When I got back my in-law's were over and they wanted to take the kids for the day. Score! shipped the kids off with the in-laws and I'm going to take the wife out for a late lunch / early dinner for Mother's day today :D. Save the rush so we don't get stuck with everybody trying to go out tomorrow! Keg steakhouse here we come! bone-in rib cut 20oz steak here I come!!!!.
 
The sawyer mini filter fits right on the survival sheath i got with the esee pouch... So if you have a sheath with an Esee pouch, this is an easy way to carry a great water filter with you.

That's a pretty cool idea bud, I have my water purification tabs in my pouch on my BK9!

Thanks bud.

Im not a huge fan of using chemicals to treat my water personally. It works, just not my preference.

If the source is suspect id just dig an Egyptian well next to the source, collect that water and then filter it as an extra precaution.

I only use it when I have the water stored and on my way back to camp to boil it.
Usually all the water in the mountains I camp at is fresh and clean but I still purify it as best as possible as a precaution.

Tarp water is always good when New York blesses me with precipitation almost everyday!

That's the thing about renderings, everyone has their own ideas about it. One person likes a choil, the next does not, one person wants a scandi grind, the next wants a saber grind, the...

I only left the ricasso like that to show the ESEE 4 logo. I would have made the scale on the ricasso side to slant like the grind too. Lots of different ways to go with it.
