This time, this is my pic... I'm enjoying it immensely. Plus my tankard holds two at a time.![]()
What are you using? Saracha or apple cider vinegar are what I have used most. I dont like the yellow tint of a mustard patina but I have been using some ketchup lately and it works great. Very black.Slappin' a patina on me Brute.
Mixed a few drops of apple cider vinegar in some honey mustard. Blotted it on. Nothing spectacular per se, but hopefully it'll slow down the rust. What are you using? Thanks man. That steel sure rusts easily. Photo doesn't really show, but where I sanded the rust off, the patina is darker.Whoa.....nice Dubz!

It is indeed a Brute. 1/4" beast. Cool blade, but doesn't chop near as good as the 4, or 9. The edge has been reprofiled on this one, from the previous owner. It probably chops better than the stock edge, but can't compete with the others. Also, this one has a sharpened swedge. They don't come stock like that. That's different, I think I saw you post that knife a while back. How do you like it compared to your other Beckers?
Know wha ahm sayin'...That sounds like some new gangsta rap slang...
