Your right Warrior. That is pretty cool. But I promise you. If that guy flying the heli ever saw a vagina that video would have never been made!

i bet he see plenty, and runs them hot, by remote control :)

no, the girls know, a guy with hands like that? is a keeper.

Awesome photos ac700wildcat. I love North, and South Dakota. My wife and I were at the Theodore Roosevelt State Park a few years ago. Really nice place. I think the name of the town there was Medora, iirc.

Yup, that would have been Medora. The badlands are a pretty cool area, I've been through them lots of times, but never spent any time there. I'm in the northeast part of ND, so I'm a ways away. I need to get down there one of these years and check stuff out better, it sure looks cool from the interstate.

I don't know why, but this pic made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes.
It's getting late & random stuff becomes funny.
He just looks so content.
He looks like he's playing a magical french fry flute!
Thanks for the good laugh ac700wildcat!

Lol, no problem. He was pretty content to just sit there and eat his french fry. I had another picture with his eyes open, but liked this one better.

Yeah, that is a ways away. We pretty much drove through the state on the way back home. stayed the night in Bismarck, stopped at Jamestown to see the giant buffalo, etc.

I also was in Rolla North Dakota many years ago.

My BK9 and I had a date last night with the grinder and it didn't go so great. So...now I'm 9-less and have an ongoing project that I'm hoping I can salvage into the 8 inch or so drop point design that I submitted for Crimson's contest. I figure that at least I got something better to do that shop for new knives.

ruh roh!

what happened!? If it gets out of hand Im sure that one of the dudes on here could help ya out. A 8'' dropper could be cool tho. I was just thinking about lowring my swedge a hair, like Zulu's 9

Are praire dogs good for anything? I hear there pretty much nusense animals. Make holes in the ground that livestock break there legs in and soforth. Do people hunt them or eat them or anything usefull about them?

I'm sure you COULD eat them, but they are thinned as a nuisance animal. I wouldn't eat one unless it was a survival situation. Or I was drunk at a party LOL

I could watch this for hours

I have always been a fan of the full tang....but last night it took second place to the poon tang...

We don't have praire dogs here in indiana. We got a lot of rabbits here at my house. Being overran with them as a matter of fact. The old bitch a few doors down feeds them. Thinks there cute. There ain't nothin cute or funny about them little bastard eating my wifes flowers or my garden down to the nubbs! So I started shootin them with my sons 22. I put cci shorts in it and its not much louder than a pellet gun. I killed over 20 of them this summer already!

that's fixable.

I hunt prairie dogs (groundhogs) when they're digging holes in my lawn and eating my garden. There's officially no closed season.
Skinned one out to make a hide, ended up with a pork rind instead of a fur.

There ARE recipies online... apparently they're rather oily. Dense buggers, more to chew on than a squirrel, for instance.

They're good for eating or pelts!

I have to say, I like bunnies. Always want to hug 'em. But I'll eat 'em too. :D They're not rodents, tho just as irritating to gardens.
Although we have plenty around here, I can never find 'em during hunting season when out with my .22.

bkoregon: I would not think all is lost, you or somebody on the forums will be able to make something quite "killer" out of that 9. Props for the attempt though.

Prairie dog and groundhog are 2 different animals?
prairie dog rarely goes over 5 pounds and groundhog (woodchuck) can hit 40.
groundhog can be a pain - because they like to dig burrows and eat everything in the garden but the weeds.
Prairie dogs (AKA whistlepig) are dangerous to cattle because they dig LOTS of holes and breed almost as fast as rabbits.
population control with .22 shorts is a challenge and a fun way to spend an afternoon. the "whap" when you hit them is louder than the bullet leaving the barrel.
I hear groundhog is actually tasty -- but I don't know of anyone who has posted up about prairie dog recipes, but I'd be interested in trying it if it really does taste like squirrell.
