The Sound of a Folder

I too love the solid sound of a well built folder opening with the strong lock snapping into place.

A few of my fave sounding knives include the ZT 0550 (Ti frame locks have exquisite acoustics) , BM MPR , Spydie Native5 and the Spydie Manix2.

Titanium integral framelock. When the blade locks open, and when the detent sucks the blade closed. Very distinct ring.

The sound of a folder is a very satisfying one. Sometimes while camping at a state park I like to take a walk around the campgrounds at night with one of mine that I can easily open and close with one hand, and flick it open and closed.

The double click of a good Strider reminds me of what I read in accounts of the old west. A guy knew just by the distinctive sound of 4 clicks that a Colt revolver was coming his way.

My masserin consoli locks up with the loudest click from any knife I've ever heard its a lock back and is 3 times as loud as my endura , I like it better than the sound my insingo and leek make put together lol

That seems... creepy. Lol.

I like the sound of my Emerson CQC8 the best. I haven't gotten a chance to even see or hold a Strider yet, but it sounds like (pun intended) that they are nice knives.

My ZT350 makes my favorite sound. I like all of my knives but that sound is close to the ominous sound of a pump shotgun.
