Alan . Todd Davidson most of the times makes his own patterns and maybe borrowed this knife design from the old Reminton Bullet Knife pattern or what Tony Bose re-named the Back Pocket Knife. Todd could have enlarged or decreased the size to his likes. But my two cents worth say's its and old remington Pattern which almost all the knife companies had some version of also.. I make this knife in four inches an 4 1/2 and 5 inches, so it can be made big or small .
