The Sunday Picture Show... (12-10-2017) . . . OLD Show Look At the DATE...

Ha, Roger, I do like these 192s. You and John and I'm sure others have wonderful collections of these. Hopefully the twin to yours above will be here tomorrow:thumbsup:. Preston

Great show as usual everyone. Here are a couple Klinkhamer Buck 102's.

One more 116 for the show. This one I know when and where it came from. I purchased it for the sheath. The maker got it just right. You can shake it upside down and the knife stays in place but still draws in and out nicely. Thought it odd that the two rivets were different, one bright and the other brass. Notice the pommel, the early castings had porosity and instead of discarding it Buck would plug the defect. I have several examples of this in my collection.

I have a few of these but need to sit down and figure out just how many varitations there are. Two countries, US and Canada. Two scenes, banner and ducks. Two models, 110 and 112. I've seen some with and without handle shields. Some are N/S and some brass.
They are fairly common with a large build numbers but I've seen some sell on the Bay recently for what I consider to be an unwarranted high price.

I have a sweet Buck 110 with a Gold etched
Blade made for Ducks Unlimited for 50 years
of Conservation from 1938 - 1988 for Canada...
I got this one from a good friend...
ITE
110 Canada...

One thing that I always liked about Buck is the very cool knives there employees received. Since 2007 I've seen better than 100 different one's from very early to the cool flag 119. The service award Bucks for 5,10, and 20 year plus are some of the best works of art Buck created! Getting a fantastic rare knife has got to be one of the best perks in the industry. And I have never seen or heard of another knife manufacturer that honors there employees like Buck does...

I've always been surprised by the number of employees willing to flip them....
