I am enjoying my freedom this Memorial weekend thanks to those who serve. Blessings on you. You know who you are.

Perhaps like some of you, I'm economizing my household expenses in order to be able to acquire the copper/lightning strike 110 so that helps explain the noodle background (and they are spicy hot so add bean sprouts and flat peas).

Red, white and blue wildlife: (Cinnamon Teal keeping an eye on a eagle, the eagle in question and Lazuli Bunting contorting for grass seeds:

Nice knife Armand, is that one going in my box to go with these?

Alpha Dorado 271 posing with Cactus Blooms

CSAR-T fixed blade and a Marksman, in case I need to go tactical on a rogue tumbleweed

4 foot Gopher Snake that greeted me at the front door a couple days ago.... I followed it around the house until it stayed still long enough for a photo.

Harriet the goat standing guard on her watch tower

Oh, and the 830 Marksman, cutting through the fabric of time, space, reality and the color spectrum :D

Chris as long as it doesn't come with a rattle I'm cool with it...LOL One day I was moving some wood out in the wood pile an saw one of these so I thought? Eastern Hognose Snake
Heterodon platyrhinos but it wasn't a HOGNOSE....which gets mis-idnetified for a North East Timber Rattler.....this baby snake had a rattle! it was a RATTLE SNAKE! LOL which meant the mother and offspring had to be near.....

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone and great show. Love those red white and blues.

For my addition to this weeks Buck Knives picture show I have a couple of Buck Vanguards with buffalo cutouts by WBC also known as Wild Bill Cody. Although I think they are beautifully done I don't think they would work very well on actually skinning a buffalo.

For my wildlife picture I have a clock I made for my youngest son with a picture of him with a buffalo I got in Montana. It was 18 degrees below zero when we were there. We cleaned, skinned, and cut up the buffalo and laid out the meat on some rocks along the Mackenzie River where the meat froze solid in about 1.5 hours. There is nothing like Buffalo meat. Good and lean and boy is that fur super thick. You cannot dig your way down thru the fur to the hide.
