The Sunday Picture Show (August 29, 2021)

Great show everyone. I believe I’ve posted this 120 before but it’s one of my favorites. A 1966 Buck dot with lots of provenance.

OK, actually I was referring to your choice of evening belt wear.
I'm not always as funny as I think I am.
gotcha. i was doing work yesterday and had it on my belt for the whole day and evening. wasnt tired, so I didn't try to lay down when I know i won't sleep... so still had it on my belt.

some folks lay down toss and turn and then get up. I dont bother to even try when I'm not tired. yeah no vistors i was worried about or critters even. a bear already cleaned me out of my pineapples earlier in the month. not that a 656 would do much good against a 350lb bear anyways.😁

I've read that pineapples can help speed up metabolism.
Maybe he's trying to lose weight.
It's nice tho that you have the scale out there for him so he can keep track. 😊
thats their size range down here. low end about 250. high end about 350. I didnt see him just found the eaten tops laying about and a crushed area by the plants where it sat down and ate and crushed my surroundings plants flat.

Another repeat for the show. A phenolic and brass trimmed 120 General in 5160 steel. These were a Copper and Clad exclusive. Picked it up on eBay, not from C&C. Dishonest seller cut off the "Factory Blem" label. Only defect I can find is some roughness in the fullers. With a few exceptions, I'm more cautious now with Buck knives for sale in the Post Falls Idaho area, people buying blems at the Factory Store and reselling on eBay. Some caught on and started reselling without the incriminating box. I don't necessairly have a problem with FB's if described as such up front. It is always a minor cosmetic thing, never seen one you didn't have to look hard to identify the problem. I think Buck has started etching "FB" on the blades again, not so crazy about that but I can understand why.

Wildlife photo. I buried my old dog Heidie and someone dug her up. Reclosed the grave and covered it with patio blocks. Put a camera over the grave, looks like a Coyote. Pic is not as good as yours.

A Civil War theme 903 Bowie for the show. Stone Mountain Bowie c.1984. A run of 250 for Smoky Mountain. The largest high relief sculpture in the world depicting Confederate President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee, and General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. Both Lee and Jackson were present at the second Bull Run /Manassas battle. Soon to be extinct? I'm waiting for the history erasers to insist this be blown off the mountain.

Roger - I always bury a 3X4 piece of concrete backer board just a few inches deep over the top of my deceased pets in order to keep other animals from digging them up.
Never had any problems. I have plenty of dark fuzzy pics like yours but this time both coyotes came in during the daylight. Others showed up during the day.
I put out some apples and poured some maple syrup over them to hopefully attract a bear but instead had about a half dozen coyotes come in. Some deer also.
I would have never thought syrup would bring in coyotes.

Here are a couple little Bucks I didn't get posted to last weeks SPS.

3 deer that also visited my trail camera and ate a few syrup coated apples.
