No date codes on either knife. Buck on one and no model numbers on either. Possibly prototypes? Very nice and some of my favorites. Some pics as someone may have more information.

These are tips with winding to screw them on the tapered wood shaft. The band rifles gives more grip for the screwing tool.Gotcha, thanks, I went back and looked againI was lead astray by the band around them that looks to be where the bullet would be seated in the case. What confused me was the fact that there is no flange/channel around the base of them. Even rimless cartridges have that channel. I should have known
