The Sunday Picture Show (March 21, 2021)

Just got home from a long night shift at work. I'm not really into the tactical style knives so I'll add a few of what I call Tac knives from the pile.
John, the stag handled 639 at the bottom in the last photo, did it come from the factory or was it Leroy or another custom maker?

*** I just realized this show was my 10th anniversary on the Buck forum. March 21, 2011 to March 21, 2021 ***

What a great way to celebrate it.
Doesn't seem like all that long ago I was a newbee here.
I guess time goes fast when you are having fun.
As usual, hope to see you all again next week.

Spoiler alert.... next week I have a pair of 'little ones' I want to show off.

.
Congratulations!!

Preston - I have a stag handled 639 as well. Mine was done by Joe Houser. I think he did a few of these.
Thanks James, is yours marked in any way. Just curious, seems that both Leroy and Joe sometimes mark ones they have done...other times not. I wonder what makes it different?

Hi All, Happy SPS great show as always! Thank you Roger for taking the time to do this for us each week. Also, thank you to each of you who post to the shows!

This week I have a new 591 to show, been wanting a nice bolster activated knife for years and Bucks new version is a great knife. The new magnetic boxes were used a few years ago on the MR. Crappie knife. The magnetic box comes in a sleeve.

somehow I was paying so much attention to the paradigm I missed the magnetic mr. crappie box. cool piece of history i wasnt aware of thanks for posting and showing it.

"Just curious"... I have seen Leroy Remer marks on knives but how about Houser. I've seen 1 knife that was marked with the Houser logo on the pommel, has he marked in any other way?

Wow that's nice... interesting in the "before" pics... the edge chipping seen is also what my 184 has experienced, without (what I would consider) by any stretch of imagination "hard use". Did Buck have a heat treat issue with those knives and the 425M blade material?

I have several of Leroy's knives that have his initials stamped on them. Have one of Joe H's with his logo on the pommel, don't know of him marking any other way. I have several that he did that are not marked, but COA states he did it.

This is the 192 I have, not a shorty.
