You got the old part right my friend, I was just thinking that I made that bag 50 years ago. How did that happen???:D
I used to have a wonderful collection of early sail makers tools including knotworked needle cases and Lignum vitae fids. Should have never sold them.

The GEC #65 together with a toy steamengine, made by my wife's Grandfather for her Dad.

This is my first and only GEC, so I'm still learning about it.
It is assembled very well and everything works smooth and with tight precision.
A very nice back lock!
