A little bored yesterday, and thought I could improve the in hand feel of my ebony eureka jack. Ground the secondary to more of a wharncliffe. It worked as there is no hot spot anymore when using the main spear with any grip.

Why thank you sir! Very productive day today. We racked our Kuro Sato Strong Ale to secondary, coming in at over 11% ABV :eek:. Brewed a signature Amber Ale and a signature Pale Ale using 2013 harvest hops from the Willamette Valley. Also got started attempting to harvest yeast from bottle dregs of some Jolly Pumpkin beers for some mad scientist experiments with a portion of our Kuro Sato strong. Exciting day!

Sounds like a lot of fun, nearly as much as reaping the rewards would be. :thumbup:
