Some of you have asked or inspired me to get this group picture of some of my old Case XX red bones:
So here you go for your Sunday Picture Show. ;)

Michael - thank you for that! :D

That congress is a beauty! ;)

I have one of those Queens too! Lovely knife aren't they?

Thanks gents. I just got it last night, so I've only fondled her and taken some pics. This purchase was inspired by Christian's Queen GAW. A Queen was the first slipjoint to catch my eye when I was getting back into knives, but I still hadn't actually purchased one. I've been whittling/carving quite a bit lately, and when I started peeking at Queens, she caught my eye to be sure. If I wanted to be picky, I could point out flaws. But she doesn't have nearly as many flaws as I do. And she's destined to be a working girl. 😉

Nothing about that photo I don't like. Great knives, cool old coins, great looking bone and a couple of really cool old watches. Thanks for sharing!

W:eek:W!! Thanks for sharing those beauties Primble. What is the pattern number of the small jack below the lockback next to the Barber dime? It looks to be almost the same length as the peanut.

Thank you Rob and Mark!

Mark - it is a Medium Serpentine Stockman - pattern 6244 - straight XX - 1940-1964 era. It is about 3 & 3/8 inches closed - so a bit bigger than the Peanut. Probably the camera angle that makes them look about the same size. It sure isn't easy taking a large group shot like this - all the light falloff and glare to try and control. :o

I hope I did them justice doing this group shot.

A little side note for those that may be interested - the 2 old Hamilton Railroad pocket watches are from the 1940's to 50's era and have been serviced to keep great time. Either will be accurate within 2-5 seconds per day - a real feat for an old mechanical!

:)

I have quite a few of your great old knife pictures saved in my Bladeforums folder on my computer. Every now and then I look back at some of them.

Use mine when you want to!

Pictures in the thread of yours - will do! :)
