Oh, what a beauty.

I drive by the old Hamilton Watch Factory every now and then, and am sad.

My latest beauty, a surprise gift from... well, you tell me.

The funny and sweet thing being, I didn't recognize the member's real name (no screen name was attached), but recognized the knife so I knew who it was from.

Big smile here, for the friendship, recognition, and an amazing ebony workhorse.

Nice looking Sailor's knife, ~P! How about a little more info?

In keeping with the patriotic suggestion I started earlier, here's my other Bruce Bump knife that didn't fit on the screen. Can you name the beads?

Thank you Pertinux.

Driving by that beautiful old factory would make me very sad, as well. I would like to see it in person.

I thought Jack Black when I saw the knife, but, that does not seem to fit, after further reading.

It is a beauty, regardless of sender! :)

Waynorth,

Great red, white, and blue theme going on with that picture - complete with soaring eagle!

I do well to name knives, much less those old antique beads. Gevonovich - where are you - can you guess the beads? :D

I wonder about the knife though - what is the blade and handle material, maybe mammoth ivory?? It is a beauty!

Pertinux - I think we need a bit of a hint. ;):D This thread is beginning to feel a bit like the "Wheel of Fortune"! :D

Invoice - looks like somebody is going to have a fine meal - nice stag on the knife too.

4 line EO Camillus - complete with lanyard by Gunstock Jack. ;)

This shot might be a better view of the lanyard.

:)

Nice bucket of Lobstas back there Invoice!

It is indeed Mammoth, Primble. Bruce makes some fine Feather Damascus. I think there is a series of pics showing the process somewhere on the www.

The beads are antique and glass Jeff. They are fairly famous trade beads from the last couple of centuries. I'll let a few more folks gaze upon them before I spill the beans!;)

Was up in the mountains today, took us 4 hours to climb to the highest elevation and also explored some old mining caves. :)

No, not me, I only have the gnarly ones! :D I do know where it came from however, and also who did a great job of poshing it up! ;)
