Ran out of Batteries

Plug him/her back in - I would like to see his/her eyes open. That kitty very much reminds me of one I had when I was a young boy - his name was "Nuthin". I have another pretty one sitting next to me now - a rescued black tuxedo named "Sapphire". Nice Schrade too, hopefully not so sharp. :):thumbup::thumbup::D

P.S. - they can fall asleep most anywhere, can't they? :)

I posted this on the Opinel thread but this looks like a good place to post also. They are 6 thru 10 in both Inox and Carbone. Third from the right is Oak/Inox.

Is that Opinel a custom job, or did it come like that?

No it didn't come this way, I tweaked it, I have a #9 that evolved from years of use into a easy open blade thinned from sharpening sat below the handle.

I needed something a little bigger, and was going to get a Mora, but I hate carrying fixed blades, so I took my #10 that I use camping and sanded it to stain and figured I would make the handle EO now so I could avoid if I had to in the future, I took pics for a forum friend of the process that took a few minutes, I did 3 coats of Jacobean stain and 2 coats of floor grade poly, hope nobody minds I'll include the pics I sent to my friend

No fancy tools a sheepsfoot and some sandpaper

Had this in a different thread but thought it would work here as well. Awesome knife!! *OLCUT* by Union Cutlery.

Some of you have asked or inspired me to get this group picture of some of my old Case XX red bones:
So here you go for your Sunday Picture Show. ;)

Michael - thank you for that! :D

That congress is a beauty! ;)

Wow that is a beautiful collection Primble! Is that a "Baby Copperhead" (about 12 o' clock) below the heads up Buffalo Nickel?

Thank you sir - Yes a ten dot, circa 1970, tang stamp # 62109x, a Mini Copperhead, and often referred to as "Baby Copperhead", under the heads up nickel. :)

I did not see this yesterday, sir. I will find a picture, I have many, and post one of her in the photograph section. She was not asleep just laying around by me. She is absolutely safe with me, rest assured nothing will ever harm her if its in my power!! She is my solace.

Much appreciated Trevytrev! I have been looking at and admiring your impressive collection of Sodbuster style knives.:)

Carried the African Blackwood to church today. My grandfather-n-law thought is was "pretty." I would have to agree but not sure if he meant it as a compliment. :)
