Had just a few minutes to take some pictures as I passed the corn fields in Milam County. Two beauties Marko sent to me recently:D

I really need to find that cornfield !! Sweet corn indeed and wonderful colors !! :thumbup::thumbup::D:D

I guess we all call our home areas God's Country. I agree with your assessment though - loving the wild flowers in the foreground and the weathered posts ! I expect that watering hole ain't been there long. ;):D

Thanks very much for the compliments, Jack!! You asked in another thread and those two are the beauties that I was sent by Marko! The bottom one he took out the pen and cleaned it up. What a great job he did on it!!

Good eye for nature, Primble. It is swollen due to all the rain. The area in the back is always around even in the drought and I suspect he has a spring. Farther down the road is a fantastic area but no place to pull over for a photograph. :(
