The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

I am usually not a fan of whittler patterns, but I had to take the chance on this one for the scale material

I am not usually a fan of appaloosa bone (if that is indeed what it is), but yours is beautiful!

I did not take these today, as I have been gone most of the day, but they are a couple of my favorite pictures, and I have not posted them to this thread yet.

Cailico on my mind - great photographic and knife, Confucious

Great pics today guys! The calico called to me too Confucius.

Thanks! I couldn't be happier with the calico bone on mine, now I just need to learn to whittle!

Thanks Doug, it is calico bone, I'm not sure what the difference is between calico and appaloosa, but they sure have a similar style to them.

I showed someone the knife and they said the bone looks like those pictures of galaxies that NASA publishes. I think I agree, there is tremendous depth to the bone, alot of the darker and lighter blotches look like they are floating, frozen in time. It was a bit of a challenge to capture all the detail in a picture.

Two of my favorite flea market finds joining me for luck on another hunt.
Scout doing non scouting task, I did earn my merit badge in Guinness.

Thanks P. It's got that depth that my crappy pics won't show. I'll try some outdoor photos at some point.
