Good looking knife.

Love the pictures, Pete

Robin, that "purse" is elegant! I have been working on my first few and you offer great inspiration with all your pieces

That is very kind of you, Robin!! I am the epitome of novice, but as I progress I will gladly garner some of your wisdom. Thank you, my friend.

Time for a traditional autumn afternoon snack, sliced by a traditional American pocket knife.

I don't know what to call this pattern. It's by Pal Cutlery Co; got it yesterday and like it a lot. 3 and 3/4 inches closed.

Nice knife! It is called a cattle knife. I saw that one up on eBay not too long ago.

Thanks! I'll have to see what it went for on the bay. This particular one was $4 at an almost local barn sale, I guess I'd call it.
I did all right.

Working on my daughter's car today so it's a beater knife. Queen single jack that I brought back from the dead. The previous owner used it to pry which bent the blade and made it wobble terrible. I bent it straight and tightened up the joint. Now it is very smooth with a 4-5 pull that can be pinched open with ease while having no blade wobble.

How about a little bit of dark goodness for this autumn Sunday afternoon?

Ebony knife from New Britain (Connecticut), and chocolate stout from Tadcaster.

I would never say a pristine collection of outstanding GEC knives is a bad thing. I just can't bring myself to leave them in the tube. I love using them all, here's a few.

@doug: chocolate beer? Does it taste like it, or is it made of it? Somehow strange for me, but I´m very traditional in brewery ... :)
