Just got home from work and started preparing some rods for a day off spent on the water.

That's a Boker Great American Story series knife 1788, Modern Fuel. There was a series of these knives produced around the Bicentennial that commemorated
various aspects of American History. The dark smudges here and there are dried oil, the photo was taken before the knife was cleaned up for storage.
