In my opinion, the BRKT knives are every bit as nice as a Randall. :thumbup:

I like both BRKT and Randall. I lean a little towards Randall though. I have not handled a ton of either, but when comparing my 1-7 to the BRKT Teddy there are obvious differences in had. The Randall is balanced perfectly and extremely lightweight. The BRKT is blade heavy with the thick full convex grind balanced against the lightweight burl and hardware. The Randall is very refined especially where they silver solder the hilt in place. I like the idea that the Randall is forged but I know stock removal is considered equal or even better sometimes. In hand the Randall just feels better.

Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but they do have some differences that may not show through a photo :)

Ahh, thanks! I appreciate your comparison; admittedly, my experiences with Randall knives are limited to a select few instances.
