Know where I can get one of those? Gonna need one soon.I’m thinking of those comfort tuck gun holsters. Full Kydex attached to leather backer. This will allow for a clean draw and reholster without trimming your love handles.View attachment 1745462
these work but they can get hot with all that leather. My IWB 1911 holsters use a single belt clip and the Kydex extends above the hammer on the skin side, it makes it easy to re-holster 4 o'clock carry (just behind the hip bone). I'm also using one of David Browns standard sheaths on my TGULB for IWB carry and it works great.I’m thinking of those comfort tuck gun holsters. Full Kydex attached to leather backer. Hey that’s cool! This kind of out of the box thinking is what we need for this blade!Did something kinda similar awhile back. Dual knife carry that breaks down. That way you can use the sheaths individually. Rig had different length straps to adjust ride height

Those are beautiful! I was thinking of a pancake Kydex ( full Kydex both sides) attached to leather backer with clips attached to the leather.My very first 1/2kydex 1/2leather Mutant was exactly this
I think Jaxx has one of my first ones for a TG
it was not very popular, with leather on the back.
Everyone wanted the leather to be the show side.
so that is what they became.
Secondly with a pointy blade the leather is soft and the point of the blade could and will get stuck in the "body shield" at best, if it does not go through the "shield" into you !!!
Now a kydex body guard I have done that a few times over the years.
and it does work , harder to make but it works.
Usually with as sharp as these Busse knives are you really want to see what you are doing when re-sheathing.
Think of it this way;
"Drawing a weapon is a 100% times more important than re-sheathing/re-holstering.
The fight should be over by the time you put the weapons away. "
