My son gave me this knife several years ago.

It was a very nice gesture on his part.

Luckily, it did not last long, the pivot end cracked through after a couple of years.

I love knives like that. I find them when I'm fishing and use them to cut bait. Then I throw them into wooden benches until the are destroyed.

I like it L2D! Also a great reminder that carbon steels don't immediately disintegrate upon contact with water; an exaggerated fear to some... Glad Shaggy's going to clean 'er up and put her back to work! :thumbup:
