Yes, I'm putting the swedge on the signature series. I took some weight out of the handle and I needed to take some weight out of the tip to offset it. The knife was not originally designed to be skeletonized and that long thick blade made it a little tip heavy. I like a field knife to balance on the first finger so you can reposition it in use. This one just barely does, which is a consequence of changing a design after the fact, but it works okay.

My pups will not give me the time of day if there is anything one iota more interesting than me (which is everything) calling, but this video got perfect upright attention instantly. I'm ditching the "happy voice" and clicker and using this for all future recall work.

Just to clarify: Both versions get the swedge?
