Hey man some of us have kids here!It seems that red soupbone is the leading candidate for the scales. Can we now talk about which end the pocket clip will be attached?
Ha!Anybody else notice the seams in the soup bone mock-up? I wonder if he was just using up the last remnants of old soup bone mock-up stock, or if this is the new normal?

My assumption is that the nail nick is the configuration. Once we get some kind of confirmation we can nail down the mock ups a little bit. Until then, I do hope they have a pile of NF 86 blades somewhereThanks for the mockupswaverave . The long pull looks good, but I actually prefer the nail nick on this for some reason. I’m probably in the minority on that.
Lol... of course I kid, Darren! Definitely appreciate the work you put into giving us some pics to ponder!
I’m in that minority with you, then. I generally prefer nail nicks for some reason. Thanks for the mockupswaverave . The long pull looks good, but I actually prefer the nail nick on this for some reason. I’m probably in the minority on that.
No way, nail nick only. I think long pull/match strike pull just doesn't look right. Makes the knife look over the top with "stuff." Especially with those bolsters. I like the simple lines on the nail nick. How about the 97 treatment? Nail nick and a long pull.
I so love match strike pulls. What are you going to do; light it off your fly?I love long pulls, like nail nicks, and dislike match strike pulls (they just look weird).
I wasn't the biggest fan of having both a nail nick and long pull... But I have to say, GEC really pulled it off on the 97. It looks pretty good on a clip point. I'd still prefer one or the other I think though.

Okay. How about beige?
