My guess is, Bill will propose a pattern (or two), and we'll get to choose from what is proposed!
But don't count your chickens . . . .(a Chicken Jack???. . . . .Nah!!)
just yet. We are a long way out!!
We also have to figure out how to take orders, and distribute this knife!!

Great news, thank you!! I know we are a ways off, but for me, I'd be okay with just about anything you and Bill worked out for us... as long as it didn't have a comb . I'd also be willing to pay in advance if that helped make things easier.

With Mike indisposed due to his family and work situation, I wonder who will be available to step up and serve as a distributor for GEC? Do we know of any other GEC dealers who are still hanging around BladeForums who would be willing?

I have no clue if they would be interested, but DLT is a GEC dealer that didn't jack prices up and is also a BF supporter and participant.

Latest report!! Bill wouldn't mention a pattern, but thinks he can produce a knife for us in the Fall!!
I had to stay calm!! Yahoo!!!!! was my only thought!
He has about 4 knives/runs coming up so far this year, and was not about to give me any spoiler alerts, but thinks he can include us in one of the later ones. He likes our Jackrabbit idea for a knife, but no commitment exists yet, so we are still up in the air for a pattern; but it looks like a good chance we will get a GEC knife this year!!

Edit: I don’t believe it got addressed earlier, but the sowbelly framed rabbit knife or rabbit skinner even (I believe) is a Tony Bose design if my memory serves me correctly.
