It is time, for the first time ever, to have a non-binding, unofficial discussion that carries no weight, about the possibility of a 2022 Bladeforums Carothers knife.

I will start the thread by proposing that CPK make us a micro EDC pattern, perhaps in magnacut, with either a skeletonized bare handle, or ebonite or other special scales.

Feel free to posts any comments, criticisms, random off-topic or off-color remarks, meme images, videos or knife suggestions below.

A purpose built CPK Neck Knife...

...Now that would be worth hanging around for!

Hey, so... what is a forum knife?
It's a knife that has "BLADEFORUMS" stamped on it, they have been doing them annually in the Traditionals subforum. There are typically threads posted there each year (bearing the same title as this thread) where forum members provide input and eventually vote on patterns, handle materials and the like, and ultimately the participating members get to have a unique and exclusive knife that reminds them daily of the friends and wholesome community we have here etc. This year that subforum (and many other parts of this site) became a pillar of salt due to jealousy, gatekeeping and website-xenophobia. In large part the negativity this year was a reaction to the exhorbitant resale value--and consequent scarcity--of knives by Great Eastern Cutlery, who more often than not has made the forum knives in the past.

I don't think there has ever been a forum knife that was not a slipjoint folder, this would be a first in many ways. If this idea gains traction we will need to get permission from Spark to use the Bladeforums mark and proceed.
